Montowers: No Cheat Game Guide #2

Content Warning: This game guide contains images with infrequent/mild sexual content and implied nudity and may not be appropriate for very young audiences.. iTunes has rated it as Rated 12+, so i advice that the viewers/readers only view this entry if you are of the right age already... :)

here's another English entry, hurray! :D
well, let's see..
i'm not yet completely done with the first MonTowers game (and i'm already hooked with its online version - MonTowers2)..
but i think i've already accomplished all my goals there..
so i'm already posting my final (additional) guide and/or observations for this game...

Note (again): The images that you will see in this particular blog entry are combination of my own screenshots from the game, and some which i got from some website even before i installed a screenshot app to my tablet (sorry, i forgot where exactly).. i don't own any copyrights for these materials.. and i'm just trying to share my game experience to those who'd be interested...

Most of the featured monsters are in their Master Form (unless i specify some other Form)...

Mix/Recipe Monsters:

Demonican

i'm not very sure yet as of the moment (for i still haven't caught every Mix Monsters out there, i still have one running wild out there T,T)
but what i can say is that the Demonican is a very reliable ally..
with very high attack power, HP, and Super Regen..
plus the 50% Attack Bonus and 50% HP Bonus
she'll be a great asset in taming the other wild monsters out there in the game..
so save those Tokens and wish that you'd get her Recipe early, and also work on catching her ingredient monsters (Silver Dragon & Arc Angel)...

Capturing Rare Monsters (Legend, Unique Mini-Boss, & Unique Boss):

okay..
i won't say that the following numbers will be very accurate..
but i'll provide some idea on when a hunter would probably catch a rare monster (these figures are strictly based on my own experience)..
at first i actually thought that there was a pattern on the catch rate for Unique monsters..
but upon checking on it again, it doesn't seem to be the case..
the more obvious observation would be, that it seem to get tougher and the catch rate decreases from the simplest to the hardest tower...

Succubus
i caught her after approximately 837 kills

Necromancer
i caught her after approximately 282 kills
(as you can see in this particular statistics, it took me less number of kills to catch her despite being in a higher level Tower compared to the Succubus)

Vampire
i caught her after approximately 455 kills

Giant Lord
i caught her after approximately 1628 kills

Silver Golem
(Legend/Legendary Monster)
i caught her after approximately 493 kills

Elemental Lord
i caught her after approximately 631 kills

Seraphim
(Legend/Legendary Monster)
i caught her after approximately 49 kills

Badhdh Cath (Master Form)
i caught her after approximately 1832 kills

Badhdh Cath (Elder Form)
just showing my preferred Badhdh Cath form..
less revealing compared to her Master Form, but it looks better in my opinion.. :D
also, this lady here is a killer with her Accel ability, 70% Attack Bonus, & 60% HP Bonus (probably the reason why she's the game's ultimate boss)

More About Abilities/Skills & Battling:

here are some additional information regarding abilities and battling, specially about dealing with multiple or mass damage..

- the enemy's HP is dependent or proportional to the number of monsters in your party - the fewer the monsters in your own party, the lesser the enemy's HP, and vice versa
- the amount of HP regenerated by the skill Regen or Super Regen is dependent on a monster's total HP

- the Critical ability (which is a default ability for all the monsters in the game) can do multiple or mass damage against your party members.. so in order for your monsters to stay safe, always calculate for 2 times your enemy's basic damage and keep your monsters' HP above that level
- the Critical ability or skill which appears for some monsters in the game, the one with the skill icon, (in my own assumption) provides a higher rate of doing Critical damage compared to the basic/default Critical skill for the rest of the monsters

- it's hard to tell if the enemy's Fury attack can do multiple or mass damage against your party because of the default Critical skill (which has almost the same effect as Fury)
- when dealing with enemies with Fury ability, use the target gauge against them.. try not to lower their HP to less than 50% by intentionally missing the gauge (this will make your damage against the enemy lower than your usual), and when their near to their death that's when you unleash your full force by hitting the gauge on the mark

- i think Accel is only applicable against one monster, and i haven't seen any enemy perform a multiple-Accel attack against my party members

- i haven't seen Soul (either 20% or 30%) do multiple damage, probably because it is not fixed and is dependent on your monster's current HP

Summon-Upgrade-Unsummon Token Harvesting Method:

i've already discussed about this in my previous blog post:
https://jedisandsiths.blogspot.com/2020/06/montowers-no-cheat-game-guide-1.html
but here are some additional tips..
(again, this is a no-cheat and no-money-spent gameplay)...

as you can see, Tokens are very useful in this type of game..
coz basically, you won't be able to complete your monster collection without having to spend a single Token..
they are especially useful in collecting Tiana's costumes and for completing the recipes and Mix Monsters list which is entirely composed of Unique monsters...

my simple additional tip for this particular method of harvesting Tokens is to find the right timing..
there are many times that you'd find yourself rewarded by a Token just by unsummoning a monster from its Elder Form just by counting..
it may be tricky though, for the timing may change from time to time or for each harvesting session..
use a counting method (like me, i use a counting method which is based on 3 or 4 or 5)...

it goes like this..
- first you'll have to summon some basic monsters..
in my case, i only use the first 5 from the Novice Tower (Zombie, Cat Woman, Kobolt, Fairy, Fire Elemental)..
i only have 3 available slots in my party, so usually i just use the Fairy, Kobolt, and Cat Woman..
i use the Fire Elemental whenever it's about time to fully regenerate my Gem Stones, and i barely use the Zombie because it has a very high chance of just reproducing 2 Soul Gems..
- next, is use your Gem Stones to upgrade them to Elder Form..
- after the upgrade is complete, unsummon these monsters..
(here's where/when the counting method takes place)..
upon hitting the unsummon button, start counting 1 to 3, or 1 to 4, or 1 to 5 based on your preference..
perform some extra chant (like shaking your finger first) before hitting the final or verification button needed to unsummon your monster..
once you've find your 'right' timing, then it's more likely to work on your next try (it may not work always, but it'll work most the time)...

---o0o---

and here are my other favorite monsters from the game:

Nymph

Mummy

Dark Priest

Mermaid Warrior (Elder Form)

Frost Giant

Valkyrie

Dark Elf Priest

Djinni

Medusa

Efreet

Mermaid Princess

Marid

Fallen Bishop

Astaroth

 Archmage

Dark Elf Queen

Vampire Lord

Rusalka

and so there it goes..
i hope my final review/guide might be helpful to other MonTower gamers out there..
good luck!
and next time, i'll post some basic guide for the even better, more exciting, and sexier MonTowers2... :)
