New Orders 01

just text...

as soon as i saw the latest sculpts from the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con, i thought of saving money as early as July so i'd be able to acquire my new targets while they are still fresh in the market..
my main targets are from The Vintage Collection (TVC), namely (and according to priority):
1) Republic Trooper
2) Obi-Wan Kenobi
3) Emperor's Royal Guard
4) Gungan Warrior

but i ruined my own plan as soon as i spotted some other (older) targets through ebay just recently..
i saw both loose and mint figures..
and their prices are very tempting..
and being an impulsive Star Wars action figure collector - i immediately commited myself into buying 7 units..
7 items for the average price of Php 350.00 plus per unit..
from time to time i'll need great deals like this to lower my Estimated Rate per action figure..

considering the average pricing of the latest TVC wave worldwide, the match-up would be 4 new sculpts to 7..
so i finally decided to get more figures for a lower price instead of spending more money just to get the latest..
a good news is, out of those 7, one item is a loose Gungan Warrior from the TVC line, so still i'd be able to cross out one of my primary targets...

as of now, 4 units are already on their way, shipped through LBC (so again, i'll need extreme luck for this transaction)..
and the other 3 are to follow...

Rebelscum's Approval

here's a little text update for today..

i made a mistake when i decided to post some copyrighted images in my blog without asking for permission, particularly on my WishList page..
i have always been a fan of Rebelscum's Star Wars Photo Archive ever since i found out about it..
it has always been helpful for me in evaluating and determining what particular Star Wars 3 & 3/4 inch action figure should i buy and also in keeping track of what accessories goes with a certain unit..
i find it very useful because they provide there high quality and professional photos that go with useful product information especially the review of the points of articulation..
it's important to me so i can distinguish what particular units are more durable in terms of design, what are more poseable, and what i can use in my diorama project...

even though i'm a regular visitor of that site, it's a shame to say that i only noticed their Image Use Policy just recently..
when i started to build this blog, i thought it's already okay to just provide a banner link and accreditation in exchange for the use of copyrighted materials..
so after i read that, i felt guilty, and although a bit hesitant and worried that i may not get their approval i still decided to e-mail them..
in the e-mail, i told them what i did wrong, the purpose of my blog, together with my request..
and just a few days ago, i already got their approval and permission to use some of the images from their website here in my blog: WishList Page ^_^

and so i am very thankful for the Rebelscum staff for their kind consideration..
it really means a lot to me...
