July 2012 Update - Jedi Order

so the following are the new Star Wars units that i just received last week..


JEDI ORDER:

A'Sharad Hett (Jedi)..
he is the son of Sharad Hett and was raised within the Tusken Raider culture in Tatooine..
he'll later become Darth Krayt...

the image on the left shows his Tusken Raider form - not so good-looking, but still cool!
i really like this sculpt even though he looks short when placed next to other figures..
i'm planning to use his character as one of my main protagonists...

Dark Woman..
born An'ya Kuro..
a mysterious jedi who gave up her name in service of the Force..
she served as Jedi Master to Ki-Adi-Mundi, A'Sharad Hett, and Aurra Sing..
but due to her failure in training and guiding Sing to the right path, she exiled herself to the planet of Cophrigin V..
she later returned to the Jedi Order to work as a spy during the Clone Wars...

Aayla Secura (The Vintage Collection version)..
born as Aaylas'ecura..
she is a Rutian Twilek and a Jedi Master, from Ryloth..
she was a padawan to Quinlan Vos and under Vos' very own master, Tholme..
she was briefly influenced into the darkside by Master Volfe Karkko, but chose to stay in the Jedi Order...

i say i'm very impressed and at the same time, very satisfied with this latest sculpt..
although it's mass-produced, her color and the paint job is very clean, unlike some figures from recent lines..
i'm not really sure how tall she should stand, but this new figure is quite long-legged, i say she's even taller than Deliah Blue..
anyway, i really looked forward into acquiring an action figure of her because she's my favorite Twilek from the movie series..♥_♥
she's the very first unit that i managed to take out from my WishList Page since i started this blog..^_^
and i'm very glad that GreatToysOnline from the Philippines sold a copy to me..
now i finally have someone to pilot her very own Jedi Starfighter...^_^

Star Wars Action Figures - Set 09

TATOOINE:
a desert planet which is home to the most popular crime lord, Jabba the Hutt..
it is also the home planet of Anakin Skywalker..

Jabba Desilijic Tiure or more popularly known as Jabba the Hutt and sometimes as the "Bloated One"..
leader of Jabba Desilijic Tiure's Criminal Empire..
the Hutt crime lord who is very influential across the galaxy...

he's my biggest character so far...

Oola..
a Rutian Twi'lek who is daughter to the clan chieftain in Ryloth, and half sister to the leader of the Diversity Alliance, Noola Tarkona ..
she was tricked into becoming one of Jabba's dancers...

the picture on the right shows her naked form..
for some reason she has some black discoloration on her skin probably due to her black costume, bad defect...T,T

Salacious B. Crumb or simply Salacious Crumb..
a Kowakian monkey-lizard and the court jester of Jabba the Hutt..
his specie is a native of the planet Kowak...



TUSKEN RAIDERS:
are nomadic, primitive sentients indigenous to Tatooine..
they are often hostile to other local settlers of the planet..

REBEL ALLIANCE:
the following are rebels assigned in Tatooine..

Lando Calrissian..
originally from the planet of Socorro..
he is the former administrator of the Cloud City in the planet of Bespin, former administrator of the Nkllon Mining Operation and also the former administrator of the Yavin Corusca Crystal Mining Operation..
he serves as a general in the Rebel Alliance...

since he is disguised as a Skiff Guard, i'm assigning him as a spy in Jabba Desilijic Tiure's Criminal Empire...



IMPERIAL TROOPERS:
once i find the stormtroopers armor very cool..
but after the movie series introduced new designs, i started to like them better than the original..
although logically or chronologically, the stormtrooper design is the more modern version of the imperial troopers armor, the concept of the clone troopers armor and other latest trooper designs just look more technologically and conceptually advanced due to modern influences..
because of that, i decided to just assign their troops in Tatooine, coz it seems to be an old-fashioned planet..

Sandtrooper..
they look similar to stormtroopers except for the shoulder pauldron..
their armor is specially designed to suit the desert environment...

Stormtrooper..
this is the generic armor during the first movie trilogy...

i used to like this form because of its contrast to Darth Vaders all-black theme..
this is one of my two very first Star Wars action figures, the other being Lando Calrissian (above)..
they were sold together so i got two figures for my very first purchase..
after i acquired Obi-Wan Kenobi (which is only my third unit), i stopped collecting for a very long time..
i started collecting when i was in grade school and only proceeded during my last year in college..
my first 3 units are made by Kenner...
